|Here are some details about my project:|
|Sizing||Infant / Baby|
|Style||Traditional, Classic, Cute|
What materials did you use? Main color - Red Heart Soft Baby acrylic DK yarn in Mint Twinkle (from stash) Trim - Caron Simply Soft acrylic worsted weight in Pagoda (teal blue) Buttons from my mother's button box (how cool is that?)
What are you most proud of? Loved that I could include buttons from the baby's great-grandmother in his sweater.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make a gauge swatch - I used to knit and crochet more-or-less to gauge, but in the last couple of years that is no longer the case. I can only assume that as I've gotten older, I hold the yarn looser (arthritis? bad attitude?). I had to go down a hook size for this yarn to get the proper gauge
