Make It

This project was made from an independent Craftsy designer's pattern:
The Betty High Waist Panties »

Instructions

The sew along was super helpful, especially with the elastic! (Also, the power net available at JoAnn's was a poor choice on my part. It does not have enough body to "nip in" at the waist near the top of the garment. Make sure your side fabric has some heft.)

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Retro / Vintage, Romantic

Materials

Front & Back: Bias cut Tahari Stretch Satin -- Beige (fabric.com) overlain with Black Frieesia Crafters Lace (Joann's,) Sides: Black Performance Mesh (JoAnn's) Trim: 5/8 Fold Over Elastic -- Black (Sew Sassy)

What was your inspiration?

Mad Men, The Hour, and the fact that I met my husband while swing dancing!
