What was your inspiration?
I saw a quilt at one fo the shows I attended... I just learned english paperpieceing and thought I could recreate the stars in the quilt. My son was in the hospital taking chemo at the time so I used my free time in hospital rooms hand stitching stars.
What are you most proud of?
This was a quilt I donated to my church for their bazaar raffle. It was the highest money making quilt we have ever had.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
take your time... hand stitching is a journey, not a race.
