What are you most proud of? --Actually finishing this project in one session! The step-by-step pictures and explanations made it easy for me to keep going and get it done. Very fun. --I like the flowered trim fabric and the way I applied to the edges instead of using typical bias tape. --The pockets are lined making them sturdier. --The whole apron has a nice feel, very soft and comfortable. It looks great and was a pleasure to sew.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? --It's best if you have computer access while you're sewing. I had the PDF open along with the pictures of the finished aprons from the Craftsy site. --You don't need to print the entire set of instructions. Read them thru first. Besides the pattern I printed just the page of layouts for the straps and waistbands. Didn't need the author's list of steps since I kept coming back to the computer. --Be prepared to spend time sitting on your floor taping the pattern together then tracing the layers onto other large paper. Cut and label each piece as you go. --Follow the directions just as they're written and it will all come together! This designer has all the bases covered for turning out a professional-looking apron with as few fussy steps as possible. Note: I'm an average sewist who likes simple designs. I've made my own jumper patterns in the past but haven't sewn much in years. I don't own a serger so discovering, at the very end, that all the seams are enclosed was a pleasant and unexpected surprise!
