What was your inspiration?
I have another grandson on the way and he'll need his very own quilt. Bright colors are the best and these colors caught my eye. I love the prints playful animals and hearts.
What are you most proud of?
I'm happy that I was able to make the quilt bigger so he'll be able to use it for a long while. It's been hand quilted and when we learn his name it will be embroidered in the border.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just because it's a kit doesn't mean you have to stick to the plan. Add a few more borders, rearrange some blocks and make it yours.
