What was your inspiration?
I really wanted a wedding dress with a pink petticoat. I wanted a way for the petticoat to show with the dress, so I scooped the hem of the dress up in the front to show off some color.
What are you most proud of?
I think the dress fits really well. I made a muslin and spent my time fitting the dress. I also love the petticoat, and that the dress was one-of-a-kind!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Give yourself time to work on the project, and if you have a vision of what you want to make, go for it!
