Materials
Satin, lace, tulle, polymer clay, cashmere hairs, plastic eyes. I sculpted these dolls in the images of our daughter and son-in-law as they looked on their wedding day. The clothing for both bride and groom in both formats was sewn using a Bernina 1130.
What was your inspiration?
Inspirational memory of my daughter and her husband on their wedding day. Dolls are 20" tall and to scale..
What are you most proud of?
Integrating different art media into a spectacular finished product.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Never ever say "It can't be done!"
