What was your inspiration?
I was inspired by pictures of Italian brides from the '50s and '60s , and from cinema and history of costume of the same period.
What are you most proud of?
I'm very happy with the sweet expression on the doll's face, and I really like the 50s style of the dress.
I also love the hairstyle which really reminds me of many Italian actress of that period.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I would suggest to put a lot of effort in the details, and also to make a sketch before creating the doll, but also be ready to make changes during the work in progress. Sometimes little mistakes can take you to an unespected yet even more amazing result!
