What was your inspiration?
I was looking for new rib stitches in crochet and when I invented this stitch it became obvious that I should create a beret including this rib!
What are you most proud of?
I love the rib effect!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Skill level for this pattern is intermediate. The pattern is written in Standard US terminology, and requires knowledge of basic stitches and front post double crochet stitches. Anyway all the stitches are fully detailed in the tutorial with many pictures. Row by row instructions + one chart are in the file.
This pattern is for an adult or teen sized hat.

Teen l: 19.5 20.5 (51-53 cm)
Woman: 21- 22.8 (54- 58 cm
