Instructions
This 4 x 3 inch heart pocket can be used for multiple functions - a gift pocket, a gift tag holder, a tree decoration when starched, a candle enhancement, a scrapbooking accessory, a greeting card decoration. Dainty and feminine.This pattern is in the testing stage. Will hopefully be posted for sale online in Craftsy by March 1, 2012.

Size 10 crochet thread, ribbon, optional starch.
What was your inspiration?
I am working on a series of hearts. They are functional, feminine, lacy, beautiful, "heartwarming," and quick to make. They give you a chance to work on small projects that are easy to carry, take very little thread, and work up in a hour or two.
There is also the opportunity to work on stitch groupings that you may not have encountered before.
What are you most proud of?
The loveliness and warmth that these hearts will give to anyone who makes them and everyone who receives one.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Enjoy yourself. You will find multiple ways to use them and your friends and family will be very impressed.
Think up various color combinations that are possible to give an extra boost.
