Bee Happy Quilt Going To A New Home

Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Charity

Style: Casual

Materials

Fabric Panels, buttons & embroidery

What was your inspiration?

We needed a quilt for the Kids for Cancer Golf Tournament and I saw this cute fabric panel with eight pictures of bees saying "I believe". I hung the quilt up on the wall for a preview for the seniors but they all loved it so much we decided to keep it awhile.

What are you most proud of?

How well it came together and it has the look of fun. Hopefully, a young
child will feel the loving care we took when we make this quilt. I'm very sorry to see it leave and will have to make another one. I hope I have enough bee buttons left .

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I took 4 pictures of the eight pictures that was in the fabric panel. This means you can come up with 16 different combinations for the quilt.
You can use pre-made embroidered pieces like the butterflies and flowers or you can pick or make your own.
The black border (where I added the bee buttons) and the black piping
seems to frame the pictures for nice eye appeal.
