Notice how we added a bias piping strip at the top of the valance.This is great for striped valances as it adds another element of design to the valance.
We also chose a mutli-colored flat braid trim for the bottom band.

Materials
A classic "faux silk" striped fabric. Faux silk is fantastic as it's hard to tell that's it's actually polyester and it won't fade or become sun damaged.
