What materials did you use? Hoffman Bali prints, jelly roll.

What are you most proud of? Learned several new techniques with this project. I "stitched in the ditch", learned Tube quilting, and a new method of binding a quilt. Also used monofilament thread for the first time. Not sure why the photo loaded sideways....maybe if you can turn your computer?

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure that you a consistent with your seam allowances and width of your strips. All my squares did not turn out the same size.

Thanks!

Beautiful set - I love it! Which jelly roll did you use and how many?

Great colors! & love the matching pillows! Is this summer in the park? I'm working on that now as a throw size (looks like the same pattern by Jenny) & my blocks are all over the place size wise too! Did you just trim down to the smallest sized block? Or leave them & try to line up as best you could?

Yes, this is Summer in the Park. I ended up with about equal numbers of smaller and a little big bigger squares. I used the larger ones for this bed runner and pillow. I think that the smaller ones might be cute as a baby quilt with a little different configuration. Didn't use all my fabric after I saw how the squares were different sizes. I used different brands of batiks and the white fabric which made the strips a little different width. Thought that maybe that was why they were different sizes? Still pretty though. Good luck.
