I wanted to experiment with the heart-motive. I'm not quite fully satisfied with it. But I did learn some new things. For instance it might be better to make the tips of the heart from top to botten, join the two tips and then start from bottom to top for the spike of the heart. (Do you call that a spike ?) Also crocheting shells and spikes directly on the fabric seems to be very easy.
