Thanks, I really enjoyed making the butterfly. Everything that I look at with lines excites me but I cannot do them all. Thanks for posting

If you want to practice some free motion quilting go to freemotionquilting.blogspot.com Leah has over 365 free motion quilting designs to choose from. Just make up some little quilt sandwiches from those extra little strips of batting that you can't bear to throw away and do some free motion practice.

It's ok to copy others. I've been getting out my UFO's and finishing them. Sometimes you just have to sit and do it. Lots of good ideas here. I don't do well on designing things, I'm at the point where I am trying to just use up my stash so I can just buy kits. There are so many choices out there I get stuck in decision mode and don't get anything done. It's ok if it is not perfect, just enjoy the process, give it away and go on.

The only part that is hand quilted is the back of the binding. Other than that it is all machined. I live the speed of the machine. Thanks for looking!

I am so stuck right now, I have time to sew and the ambition...just have a hard time getting started. I either start piecing pieces together and see what develops or start copying someone elses work. I was lucky when I got this one started. Oh well...something will roll soon. ;-)
