I used materials from my stash. I used steam a seam for the applique.
What was your inspiration?
I saw mug rugs on Craftsy and I wanted to try my hand at designing my own. I love them and decided that mug rugs will be this years Christmas gifts.
What are you most proud of?
That I was able to design it myself.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Pick fun fabrics that you enjoy. Placement is up to you when it comes to these things, it's what makes them original.
