I used size D black beading thread and thousands of various colors of seed beads.
What was your inspiration?
I just love beading. I am always up for a challenge and when I saw this pattern, I just had to try it.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud to be able to share my work with others who know what goes into making the project and can appreciate the time it took to do it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
When doing a project like this, set time aside that you know you will get interrupted. Also make sure to set up your work space in a place you will not have to always have to put it away when you are done. As at some points in some projects there a lot of colors and it's not always to just quickly put it away. I use a shallow box with a lid when doing a project like this. I line the box with a velvet material so the beads stay put. When done for the day or I need to take a break. I fold the excess material from the sides over my work and place the lid on it. That way I know it will not get disturbed and I can start where I left off the next time I work on my project.
