The cuff is worked first, then joined to form a circle. Stitches are picked up along the bottom of the cuff for the leg. If you don't want to work the lace sttich you can just knit the body of the foot in stockinette stich.Difficulty:

My daughter was born on Valentine's Day so I designed this pretty sock for her.
What are you most proud of?
I like the overall design. I think it is pretty and the lace stitch gives it an extra bit of style.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you haven't tried knitting with beads it is a lot of fun. A sock is a great way to start because it is a small project without a large investment.
