What was your inspiration?
I had been making the regular swirly ear cuffs for a while already, but I wanted to do something a bit more whimsical. So I decided to wire beads onto the frame of the ear cuff.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I would suggest making the basic ear cuff (as shown in the tutorial) a couple of times first. Once you get that part right, adapting it is easy. For this style I would recommend shaping the entire ear cuff first, then using another thin wire (either 26 or 28 gauge) to attach the beads.
