Instructions
Buy a small quantity of beads to start with as many of these beads do not readily slip over the wool even though I used 4 ply sock yarn. My choice of yarn was very limited and I chose black. You can only work on black fine yarn in daylight on a bright sunny day, otherwise it is impossible to see the stiches.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
Recently I attended the wedding of two 85 year old friends who were the picture of elegance - she in a off white eyelet jacket and skirt with pearls and he in his black tuxedo suit. Her ring, encircled with hexagon baguette dimonds and edged with point diamonds, was stunning.
Due to the difficulty of finding a selection of plain wool I picked black and decided to use Swarkovski crystals to interpret the diamonds. On the small beads the crystal beads are actually little circular rings with crystal diamonds. I used the glass pearls to offset the black and to add the look of classic elegance.
