Bead Bangle

Instructions
Not good with giving intructions, I'm a visual learner so please bear with me :)
The crystals are strung on the beads to fit in the diamond shapes. So I had to do about 29 diamonds for a bangle that would fit a wrist size of 7-8 inches.
1. Start with 2 yards of thread, you might need more depending on the size of the bangle you're doing.
2. I strung around 174 beads. Just do the basic netting technique. *note that at the turns I put in odd number of beads. This will be the beads that will close your bangle.
3. After making nine rows, its time to put in the crystals. string the crystal on the beads where the diamond meet to fill the shape with the crystal. Pick a crystal run thread through the bead then pick another til you get to the end. And then again on the other row of diamonds, but run thread through the crystals you previously put it. Then do another set on another side, so when they fold they'd cover all the diamonds totally. Putting in the crystals will crinkle the bracelet.
4. When all the crystals are in don't close the thread yet. Go back to the thread for the beads to put it all together by making a tenth row, but this time only getting 2 beads at a time zigzagging it through each sides to close it. when that's done, secure the thread.
5. Back to the thread from the crystal, string in another crystal and find a way to run it through the crystal on the other end to keep them together. I did it by feel so just look at it and see if it needs to be adjusted, if it looks good already run the thread though the bead for closing. (The one I said in step 2). string the thread from one bead from one side to the next bead from the other to close the bangle. ( You'll probably understand it when you're doing this already ) Tighten after the first round and then do it again. After securing the thread, run it through the beads in the bangle to strengthen it..
I make it a point to always run my threads twice on all my projects, I did that before I put in my crystals. I explained the best I could, I hope you understand at least the gist of it. Good luck! :)Not good with giving intructions, I'm a visual learner so please bear with me :)

I saw an online magazine with a project by Maria Gulotta. Although instead of crystals, round beads ( can't identify what kind) were used to be wrapped by the bead netting.
What are you most proud of?
I was able to pull it off without any instruction manual. Had about 4 trial and errors until I figured how to best do it. And even then had to redo 2 more because of mismeasurements.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Measurement is key. I had to redo 2 of the ones I already made when I tried to fit it and it was too big. It was frustrating but do you know of any beader who backs out of a challenge? I didn't think so :)
I'm sorry! I actually started taking a step by step picture but I couldn't get the right angle (I use a normal digital camera so I've no tripods :)) and I just don't have time for it now. But will try to finish it and keep you posted :)
