You may use any size of beads and bugles you like, the main idea is that there are should be small beads and bigger beads and bugles of two sizes.

Seed bead, big beads, bugles, wire or strong fishing line and a needle if you use fishing line.

What was your inspiration?

new year decorations and the idea of making cartooned tutorials.

I've made more than 130 stars based on this technique.

There are differetn number of rays in the stars, so, there is an inspiration to do lots of them in different colours and size.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make fun of watching the cartooned tute and following it.
