What was your inspiration?
I found some fabric "beachbands" during a vacation in Greece years ago. I LOVE them and use them each summer. I wanted to knit some in summer yarns and created this pattern.
What are you most proud of?
I love the functionality of this garment and how it can be worn in two ways and the button band lets you tighten or loosen as needed.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be sure to select either a linen/viscose or linen/cotton blend yarn in a light worsted or dk weight. You want something that will allow you to stay cool.
