Sorry, the format for posting these has changed since I last posted, and I missed where to put in my comments and methods and challenges... so here goes. The front overlap isn't puckery on me, I'm not sure why it is like that on the dressform - perhaps cause the shoulders drop off? But, I wasn't about to model it... it is just too sheer as I don't have my bathing suit on now :) I used the lessons from Sewing on the Edge to help me with the bindings. I morphed the Jennifer Stern Tee, and B5515 yoke shift dress, plus my own crossover detail on this beach wrap and made it sleeveless. As a plus size, I wanted something special and it needed to be longer than what I was able to find in stores. It needed to fit well and not just be a sack with a hole for the head and a drawstring :) This will be used later in the week in Mexico. I can't wait! I stiffened the chiffon so that it was easier to work with by using the gelatin trick (there are tutes online). It worked like a charm.
