What was your inspiration?
My cousin had just moved into a new apartment and needed a comforter. Her walls were a beachy blue and a little hard to match. Money was tight, so I decided her Christmas gift should be functional!
What are you most proud of?
I was able to go to Home Depot and get the exact swatch of her wall paint. All of the colors are complimentary to that swatch. She is a huge beach buff, so everything ties into that theme.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Patience! I am not a quilter, so this was tough for me.
