What was your inspiration?
I like simple shapes with unusual details and wondered if a granny square would be turned into something fashionable and fun without the usual "stiffness" found in a lot of crochet patterns.
What are you most proud of?
The entire piece was designed "on the needles" with no preconceived notion as to what the final result would be. This helped promote creativity.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid. It's only knitting (or crochet). Have fun with your projects.
