What was your inspiration?

Modeled by my amazing husband. When I was designing this series, I knew that Be Kind would have to be my husbands hat. He loves beanies, great for paint balling on chilly mornings, but more then that, his kindness is one characteristic that made me fall in love with him.

To download the pattern please click the green box "by designer, free!" and it will take you to the Ravelry page where you click the download box on the lefthand side that says download. Please check out my other hat patterns while you are there. :)

Thanks for sharing your awesome talent with us. I am looking for hat patterns, because i have started a charity knitting thing for local homeless shelters and it seems that the most desired thing is a nice warm cap to keep the head warm and make winter less awful. Thanks again and God bless you and your loved ones!

Can you be more specific about which instructions you don't understand?

I think all you need to know for this pattern is how to cast on, knit in the round, purl and knit 2 together and purl 2 together and thread the stitches off at the top. Knittinghelp.com has video's for all those techniques that you can watch till you feel comfortable with the pattern.
