What materials did you use? Quality cotton and cotton batting.

What are you most proud of? Coming up with a twist on the design ... Perhaps not new to others, but using the star pattern was a first for me!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Set aside plenty of time to square up your blocks and lay them out before deciding whether to sash your star squares, or to make a few more stars and sew them together without sashing. Believe it or not making more stars is faster!

My "Be a Star" project is not quilted yet. It will be ... I have not yet made the backside of the quilt, which I plan to make using another of Jenny Doan's patterns. I will post the finished project soon!
