What are you most proud of? I love that it is traditional with a twist, but the part I am most proud of is that I longarm quilted it myself with feathers I learned from watch Sharon Shambert.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Look to the past - women quilters of the past say a lot about their lives and themselves with their designs and fabric that they couldn't speak outright. Then make it your own and decide what message you want to leave for the future.

What a lovely use of color! Your Aunt Sue not only receives something practical but a future heirloom as well. Nice job. Sewbug from Florida, USA

I love your quilt! It's very inspiring and beautiful. Someday I'm going to learn how to quilt. Off the subject, but is your profile picture vaulters? It's small so it's hard for me to see. I used to have a vaulting team. Keep posting your lovely quilts!
