What materials did you use? Pink Cotton with embroidery embellishments and organza

What are you most proud of? I am amazed that after 3 years of sewing clothing I can now create a couture dress. Also I am proud of my patience as I have had to jiggle various parts of the dress to match the pattern which is asymmetrical and difficult to match and I have had to bast the main front skirt over 5 times to get it right! I am now starting on sewing the dress together properly and then onto the lining!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use plain fabric and one with a bit more give than cotton as it does not have as much flow and drape as I would have liked in this dress.
