This is such a great 1st attempt... I have just started this class and have used my walking foot for the 1st time on a little cushion. Now I must try free motion... thanks Yankeesweet for the inspiration:)

You are welcome, I was scared to try the free hand on a quilt but I finally did it on a baby quilt which I have posted on my site.

I still have several practice pieces to work on and keep learning, you are a great teacher and I think free hand quilting will be great after I get better at it.

Looks great! Mine didn't turn out quite as nice. I practiced on scraps and decided not to try it on a quilt yet!!! Needing MORE practice. You really did a great job.

Thank Alisa & crochet4fun, I haven't done any free hand on a quilt yet either, I made the samples and that is what I am sewing on.
