I still have several practice pieces to work on and keep learning, you are a great teacher and I think free hand quilting will be great after I get better at it.

This is such a great 1st attempt... I have just started this class and have used my walking foot for the 1st time on a little cushion. Now I must try free motion... thanks Yankeesweet for the inspiration:)

You are welcome, I was scared to try the free hand on a quilt but I finally did it on a baby quilt which I have posted on my site.

How long did it take to master the free motion quilting - I am still struggling.

I just set down and started sewing at first it was terrible, but I just kept trying and tried to imagine it in my head and it seemed to go better and drawing on a piece of paper will help also, and the correct speed that you need. I still haven't master all of the different FHQ I found that some are very easy for me and others are not. Just keep trying.
