I dry my curved pieces on a surface that is curved the same as my cake, then I airbrush them when they're dry. Also, I airbrush on a plastic surface so I can scrape the excess gold into a bowl and add the lemon extract to that when I need to use it as paint. I try not to waste the metallic if possible.

Hi Beth, what did you use to make the heart shaped decorations??? I know what mold you used for the borders

Hi Beth, I would love to try out the Baroque cake but I'm not sure which of the Wilton greens I need to tint my fondant to get it to look like the class cake? Thanx :)
