What was your inspiration?
I love hearts. I made a quilt from this pattern for my granddaughter who is getting married next spring and I wanted to make another one from different color combinations. These are the colors I chose and I was quite happy with them. This pattern is available in a quilting pattern book "Bargello Quilts" authored by Billie Lauder. I added extra borders to make it larger.
What are you most proud of?
The colors seemed to go very well together and as I added the borders in colors from the quilt it just all seemed to go together. I used burgundy for the backing also.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be careful to make your seam allowances all the same and mark the rows carefully so that the seams in the blocks of each row are centered appropriately.
