What materials did you use? Traditional quilt blocks originally made by my wife 25 years ago and fabric she stored in her stash. Original machine free-motion quilt patterns based on Leah Day patterns and techniques learned from her Craftsy course,

What are you most proud of? I believe she did not complete the project because she was unable to decide on a suitable pattern for the quilt. Indeed, I had difficulty doing so myself, but succeeded with the use of computer software. Barbara frequently used the Fibonacci Sequence in her artistic designs, and I used that sequencing principle to good advantage here. The selection of quilting patterns is based on P.E.O. symbols: notably, the Marguerite flower and the five-point star. Notice that many of Barbara's selection of traditional block patterns are stars.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This project is not intended to be duplicated by other quilters, but I would highly recommend finishing the UFOs of deceased spouses as therapy for wounded souls.

Bert, this is a beautiful testament to you and your wife's love for each other. I'm so happy you completed her quilt. It shines with love. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
