This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Re-Piecing the Past: Civil War Blocks Then & Now »

Instructions

I would be very sure of the line up and making the seam allowances go in obsite directions so they have a very unique way of locking together. Relax and enjoy.
Don't be afraid to ask for help. I use to be shy. I am glad I have got over it. Have a wonderful time quilting.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Romantic, Traditional

Materials

Small floral print, and large fussy cut floral print, with two solid colors, each material is 100% cotton. I am pleased with how my square came out. I truely am enjoying this adventure into quilting.

By hand? It looks great! I love the red. I don't think I can piece by hand anymore. I haven't done it in so long. :)

Thank you, this is the first time I have joined a quilting class, and I find it so very enjoyable. My Barbara Fritchie Star is sewn by hand. A lady gave my daughter a sewing machine, and she already has a new one, so she told me this sewing machine is for your birthday and for Christmas, smiling for sure.
