What was your inspiration?
I loved the quilts in the book "Simply Stunning Woven Quilts" so I had to give one a shot. I had the balloon applique which I purchased at a quilt show and thought the woven background with ombre fabric would work.
What are you most proud of?
I think the ombre fabric was a great choice and love the way the background turned out,
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you can find batiks to use for the woven section I would recommend using those since they don't fray much.
