What materials did you use? Ballerina fabric I found and some pink fabric minky I had laying about.

What are you most proud of? The binding as I am terrible with binding. I'm getting better, but this was the first time I used a special footing on my machine to keep the fabric down while I sewed. It worked great! Also, just coming up with the pattern on my own with 9 squares and cutting the girls out very carefully.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Same as my other quilts, it is the measuring, cutting, and ironing that keep your squares straight without puckering or being uneven. In retrospect, I would like to use different stitches to really bring out the girls more.

This is precious and a matching baby doll quilt is a wonderful idea. Your tips are great and so true. It is amazing the difference that pressing your seams makes, that is the one that took me awhile to get with! Thank You for sharing.

No problem! I used to hate the ironing part, but realize if you don't press the seams right, you can really mess up the piecing.
