What was your inspiration?
The yarn was truly my inspiration with this project. It is so luscious, I needed to design something with drape and a little bit of detail, yet simplicity, to show it off.
What are you most proud of?
the versatility of the piece. Not until I was finished with it did I see all the ways it could be worn. Pinned, draped, cable at the neck, cable at the bottom, as a shawl, and even as a scarf.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Choose a yarn that is nice and soft to ensure you get a nice drape. I strongly recommend the Madelinetosh or Malabrigo worsted.
