Lazy Lamb Yarn Shop Lambie Pie in Wonderlust (whole skein) and just a little Knit Picks Stroll in black for the bind off
What was your inspiration?
I loved this pattern when I saw it, and I thought the Lambie Pie yarn I had gotten for Christmas would be a great match. So I set out to make it, but I've rarely had so much trouble with a pattern. Not sure whether to chalk it up to user error - I had a hard time paying attention as we were moving at the time - or if there is something actually wrong with the charts. However, I did get it to behave eventually, even if I did have to use paperclips to block out the crochet bind-off after I realized I had packed away my t-pins!
What are you most proud of?
Just getting the damnable thing finished. I had to tink back so many times I was starting to lose my hair.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I don't know why I had so much trouble with this. I don't think most people did. I'd love to give advice about how much you have to pay attention, but I think it was just extenuating circumstances that were giving me fits; I'm sure the pattern is fine.
