Instructions

Make this Quilt!
This quilt is so easy, I just cut (50) 5.5" squares. Pieced 5 rows with 10 patchwork squares to a row. The white strips between the patchwork are cut 4" wide. 2 yds for backing and binding. Simple one day project.

Twinkies
I nicknamed this pattern my Cream Filled Patchwork. The patchwork is the cake and the white is the cream filling. Inspiration comes from everything around us.

The simplicity

Use a variety of fabrics

Libby-since you want to make it large you could always cut bigger squares too, and cut the white wider.

This quilt is about 40 by 50 before it was washed. I used fat quarters and cut them to the 5.5" squares.

did you use fat quarters and cut them down or buy your 10 patterns by the yard. i am totally new to this and would be a great starter. i have about 30 different fat quarters of the same shade. we just moved 2 months ago and got it to match the walls.
