"Apple of My Eye" collection by the Quilted Fish for Riley Blake Fabrics for tumbler section; "Ruby" collection by Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics for the backing and binding; Bella Solids (white) for borders and a few of the tumbler pieces.
What was your inspiration?
This was a gift for a friend who was awaiting her first grandchild. I love the look of the "modern" quilts and wanted to make a bright, happy modern-looking quilt that wouldn't be too challenging for me as I am only learning to quilt. Jenny's videos and tutorials are my inspiration.
What are you most proud of?
Completing my first quilt was a great feeling! I have the confidence to tackle another one :)
