What are you most proud of? The way the machine stitching added to the bursting quality of the star. I wasnt to sure how it was going to turn out...I ussually do different patterns in the square and triangle's and only quilt in the ditch around the star. That and making a pillowcase to match. Now when the baby is a toddler the quilt can still be used on a toddler bed, and no shopping to find something to match.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just go for it! You might make some mistakes the first time, but it is easier than it looks for someone with sewing/quilting experience.

You did a wonderful job. Love the way you used the circle fabric both in the star and as a border. Love the pillowcase also. You have much to be proud of!

Thank you AnnieMae, I took a 3 year break from sewing so your praise means a lot to me :) I thought I was going to have to work hard to gain back my skills, but it really was like getting back on a bike. I passed on the circle fabric the first time, and then went back for it. I'm glad you like it in the quilt :)
