Sure. The open lid is Styrofoam covered in fondant. I bought the Styrofoam from Michael's. I brushed the lid with piping gel and covered with the fondant I had rolled out . For the sides of the lid, I rolled out some fondant that I had already colored. Then using a rubber stamp pad (I got that from Michael's also), I made impressions in the fondant with the rubber pad. I then used a strip cutter and arranged it to be the same width as the sides of the Styrofoam. I attached that with piping gel also. I then used a clay extruder to make add depth to the edges. To give the box the "propped open look, I placed dowel rods into the cake and made them a little taller than the cake. I positioned the lid on top of the cake. When I got it positioned like I wanted, I secured the lid with a skewer. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
