Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: This was my first time making a bassinet cake. Watching the online class was a big help in being able to make the pleats. I can't wait to try the other techniques taught in the class. I used fondant for the entire cake. I made the roses out of modeling chocolate and the pearls on the side panels is royal icing piped and left to dry before applying.
