Two colours of DoubleKnit wool and Needles Size 2.5mm. Oddments for embroidering the flowers.
What was your inspiration?
I have a thing about Bluebell woods in the spring. They can be so very beautiful, but for such a relatively short time. With these little shoes you can think about the bluebells all year.
What are you most proud of?
Really pleased with the bluebells, which are made from a single chain stitch and a french knot. Sort of made this up, but think it worked well,
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I bet once you have knitted one pair of shoes you will want to knit another. Luckily the pattern comes in two sizes, and is a quick knit.
