As a baby shower gift, I bought enough yarn to make the blanket, hat, and booties. The blanket was actually a free project sheet at Joann’s. I made the hat using the same pattern reference, but made it up as I went. The booties were made from Lion Brand free knitting pattern - #L10256 - super easy!I did not double the yarn as indicated in the pattern.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
As long as you can knit an purl, the patterns were very simple to follow. Yarn is the creative imagination.
