What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure you have the right kind of needle for your sewing machine and watch how much lint this makes.

I find that the 7" or 8" blocks are the best and I only use a 1/2 seam allowance.

I really like the colors your used in your rag quilt. These quilts are great for kids!

I've seen this made on here with a 3/4" seam allowance to allow for the fraying with a 5" block

That's normally how I've done it, but for this one I tried smaller blocks with deeper seam allowances. Honestly, I wouldn't repeat that with flannel. It was too bulky and bumpy.
