What was your inspiration?
I started making these for the women that I knew that were having babies..
What are you most proud of?
I am very proud of the fact that I have made over 200 of these rag quilts over the last 4 years...
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you have lots of patience, especially if you don't have an Aququilt Go, which pre-fringes the fabric for you before you sew them together. I do not have a Go, so I have to clip every quilt, and I have made these from baby size right up to king size, which can be very tediest and time comsuming, but if you love creating art and something useful, then you get many hours of enjoyment out of making these.
