What materials did you use? I had a bundle of pink & white heart material and purchased additional for border and backing to coordinate. (First baby girl)

What are you most proud of? Just a quick and cute baby quilt.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Easy pattern (nine patch) ..... it's all about the fabric.

This is beautiful...you've inspired me. I'm in love with the color palette in this quilt.

Our great niece was having her 1st girl after two boys and wanted everything PINK....lol I needed to get it made in a short time, so I just used a simple 9 patch, since I had a FQ bundle, it was all different pinks/white. I liked the white sashing and then used both for the borders. Had to buy a little yardage for the outside border and backing. The nine patch is made up of 2 1/2" sq. so finished block is 6" (6 1/2" unfinished) Good luck, so easy and fast to put together if you can get a bundle in the color of your choice in FQ or you could use a layer cake too, each one would make a block. Please let me know if I can be of any more help.

PS.....if you are just beginning to quilt, check out 'how to make a quilt' and then 'how to make a 9 patch' ...... go to Google and then to YouTube, you can find everything you need there.

Some of my favorite tutorials are on the Gourmet Quilter and the Missouri Star Quilt Company....then check out their list of tutorials. They both have a quilt like this I'm pretty sure.
