Instructions

As you will see by looking at the pics that I made a backing so when the child got older they would have the pretty colours to looks at. This was my 1st baby quilt, and about my third quilt.

what a cute idea for the back... is that a whole cloth or are those appliqued alphabets? Cute! I am self taught too... love cutiing up and sewing back together!!

all of the front is one piece, but all the bears alphabet etc are hand appliqued. each bear has different parts, so each piece was layered to give the right affect. I used vislfix to hold them in place while I did the applique work,

Very nice work- inspiring as I'm just starting and I can see how quickly your creativity shines through. By the way my husband was raised in Auckland. Craftsy classes are not only fun but make it possible for us to learn from others who share this passion or should I say addiction? for quilting everywhere.

Auckland is at the top end of NZ and we live in Dunedin. long way away, although being in Auckland for an hour while changing flights was not the experience of Auckland anyone would want, especially when its raining. So where are you now?
